New CEO at Plumrose USA

Plumrose USA also has a new CEO. It is David Schanzer, who has an impressive career behind him within the US food industry. He started working at Kraft Foods, Inc as Associate Brand Manager for Cheese, Cheez Whiz and Handi-Snacks in 1985, and during his eight years with the company worked his way up to become Director of Strategic Planning & Business Development, Oscar Mayer Foods.

In 1993, David Schanzer moved to Con Agra Foods Inc, where he ended his career in 2000 with the title of Senior Vice President & General Manager, ASE Consumer Products.

Since then he has held key positions in the Performance Food Group, Advantage Organic and Forsters Farm, before becoming CEO of Global Fresh Foods in 2005. DavidSchanzerheld this position until taking up his appointmentwith Plumrose.
