Danish Crown’s Beef Division has increased exports to several new Balkan countries after the Russian market was unable in the autumn to receive the same volumes as previously. One of the countries which has developed a liking for Danish beef is Croatia which, after a three-year period of declining sales, is now showing satisfactory sales again. Danish Crown is always working to develop new markets, and Bosnia Herzegovina and the Ukraine are proving exciting possibilities. At the moment the Beef Division is awaiting the final veterinary approval which is necessary to export to these countries.
